This is, of course, not literally a band as it's just me doing solo material. One of the things I'm trying to do here is do music that stretches the envelope of the bass guitar - - particularly in that the writeen stuff is farily difficult and then the soloist must improvise in the style of the piece. I'm not sure that there are many folks trying to do this. If there are, let me know!
